ÊMM Hotel Hoi An has become a pioneer in green tourism—travel that is responsible to both the environment and society—and proudly received the 2022 Green Tourism Certificate from Quang Nam province.
Beyond the striking jade-green tones that create a fresh, vibrant feel throughout the interior and exterior design, the “green” experience at one of Hoi An’s top five most beautiful hotels also comes from attention to the smallest details during a guest’s stay.

In practice, the hotel optimizes many operational activities through electricity and water savings, waste reduction, and encourages guests to participate via “letters” placed in the rooms and through visual cues of the hotel’s green activities, such as sorting bins and composting areas.
The ÊMM team also works daily to replace simple single-use items like combs, toothbrushes, shampoo, and body wash with easily reusable and recyclable materials. While it is impossible to completely avoid plastics and nylon, ÊMM Hotel Hoi An proactively sorts waste directly in guest rooms for easier handling.

In addition, the hotel’s green grounds use compost made from organic waste, producing bountiful yields of corn, lemongrass, pumpkins, and okra.
